Voice lessons

For voice students, lessons typically include:

  • Breath support and body alignment

  • Vocal warm-ups and agility exercises

  • Resonance, diction, and phrasing work

  • Repertoire development in styles such as classical, musical theatre, sacred, or pop

  • Supporting students in their own musical expression and interest

Audition Repertoire & Musicianship

For audition preparation conservatory style, I focus on:

  • Repertoire selection tailored to voice type, age, and personality

  • Vocal technique (breath support, resonance, diction, tone quality)

  • Expression, storytelling, and stage presence

  • Performance practice and mock auditions

  • Vocal health and confidence under pressure

For musicianship, I emphasize:

  • Solfege-based ear training and inner hearing (using Kodály tools)

  • Sight-singing and rhythm fluency

  • Score reading, harmonic awareness, and phrasing

  • Aural analysis and vocal independence (great for ensemble and solo work)

I blend technical work with creativity and emotional connection — because strong musicianship makes stronger singers, and confident preparation creates fearless performers.
